Phoenix City Council runoff: Stark, Ansari claim victories | Arizona Election Results 2020

PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – In Tuesday’s runoff election, it’s not a big race for a seat on Phoenix City Council. According to the city’s unofficial results, Debra Stark beats Nicole Garcia with 68.4% to 31.6% of the vote for the job of representing District 3. Over in District 7, Yassamin Ansari is ahead of Cinthia Estela, 58.3% vs 41.1%. Although no official winner was announced, both Stark and Ansari took to Twitter to claim their big wins. “I am absolutely thrilled, humble, and grateful, and I can’t wait to work on your behalf!” said Ansari in a tweet.
