For the first time, Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week is taking place in Phoenix, Arizona this September. Founded by Chef Jason Wyrick in collaboration with Jozh Watson from Phoenix Vegan, the event features exclusive multi-course, fixed-price menus and affordable items from local restaurants, fast-casual restaurants, bakeries, cafes, food trucks and meal delivery services, and more. Founder of Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week, Chef Wyrick is a culinary artist, speaker, author, publisher, and business owner. In 2006, Wyrick launched The Vegan Taste, an entirely plant-based meal delivery service that offers globally inspired, pre-made dishes. In 2019, Wyrick opened Casa Terra, Phoenix’s first purely vegan fine dining restaurant. Watson, a long-time vegan advocate and the mind behind Phoenix Vegan – a website that highlights the area’s plant-based foods, drinks, lifestyle, culture, tips, and happenings – has teamed up with Wyrick to bring the community together for a week that celebrates everything vegan. Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week Vendors Guests attending Phoenix Vegan Restaurant Week have the opportunity to try a range of plant-based dishes from local vegan restaurants, including Po’boys from Beaut Burger, Vegan Bahn Mi Tortas from Chilte, vegan Pulled Pork Tacos from Dilla Libre and breakfast quesadillas from Early Bird Vegan, to name a few. In addition to restaurants, there will be local coffee shops like Urban Beans Cafe and The Nile Coffee Shop, which serve morning staples like deluxe breakfast sandwiches and lemongrass chicken and waffles. The breakfast menu is $ 20 and includes an appetizer and drink, while lunch includes an appetizer, main, and drink for $ 20 per meal. Three-course dinner meals will also be available for $ 33.
