PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Police officers are involved in our communities and like many others like to visit local facilities during their lunch break. This time, a couple of Phoenix cops got more than just their favorite food – they could save a woman’s life. For many officials, saving a human life is related to work and is done without a second thought. However, one manager believed he couldn’t let this go without a personal thank you to these officials. Source: 3TV / CBS 5 Ryan Ladden, the district manager of all 5 & Diner locations in the Valley, says he’s grateful for a couple of Phoenix cops after they saved the life of one of his employees on a visit to the Phoenix location 8. July for breakfast. The incident, says Ladden, occurred on Thursday between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. “The officers came for their break as always. My co-worker greeted her and sat her down. They noticed something about her and realized that it could be medical. She is very stubborn, and (I think since you know her) she called to be on the safe side Called a doctor to examine her. The EMT showed up and decided that she needed to be transported. It turned out that she had fluid around her heart and the doctors said that if she hadn’t, she might have died would have taken care of it within 24 hours, “explained Ladden. He says he is extremely grateful to these officers for looking after his employee. He thanked the police in a personal letter, knowing that these officers are trained to “spot things that are not quite right,” in the hopes that they will see the implications and the difference they have done in their life. Tony said he comes to 5 & Diner regularly and has made friends with the waitresses who serve him which is why he noticed that something was wrong with his server. “It was completely different from what we normally have to do,” said Tony. “You could just see her walking around and it was just totally wrong. At one point we saw her actually sit down and complain about back pain.” The waitress is much better and she is back to work. The waitress doesn’t like attention, so she asked Arizona’s family to keep their faces off the camera and keep her name out of the story. She also hesitated when Tony tried to call the fire department to have her health checked. “I’m stubborn,” said the waitress. “I wouldn’t have called. I would have gone home and gone to bed, tried to sleep it off, but then I found out that it wasn’t a good idea.” and said, ‘I’ll take care of you next week,’ “said Tony. When the waitress had the opportunity to thank Tony on Tuesday, she said it was bittersweet.” I hugged him, but I wanted to kill him “Said the waitress.” To learn that we might have saved her life was kind of cool, “said Tony.
