PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A 1-year-old girl is fighting for her life after being dragged from a swimming pool in a Phoenix home. According to the Phoenix Fire Department, crews responded to reports of drowning at a house near 99th Avenue and Indian School Road around 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. According to the fire department, bystanders found a 1-year-old girl underwater and performed CPR until the crews arrived. Rescue workers began advanced rescue operations and took the child to a nearby hospital in extremely critical condition. Officials say a crisis response team is currently supporting the family.
