PHOENIX–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Together with the Military Police Regimental Association (MPRA), the University of Phoenix offers a full bachelor’s or master’s degree scholarship for Standard MPRA members or immediate family members of a Standard MPRA member.
Military service members and families can face time, commitment, and circumstances challenges in achieving their academic and professional goals. The University of Phoenix Military Police Regimental Association scholarship is designed to recognize commitment to military service and provide an opportunity to enhance educational goals for members and families of the Military Police.
“We want to honor the service of the military police and their families,” said Eric Ryan, Marine Corps veteran and senior director of military operations at the University of Phoenix. “While scholarships offer significant opportunities and hope to individuals seeking a path to higher education, this scholarship is also intended to recognize the unique service and dedication of our military police.”
Together with its members, MPRA works to provide a variety of services and support to military police commanders, soldiers and their families around the world.
“Given the unique challenges military service often poses not just for the military but also for our families, this is a great transition that the University of Phoenix is offering our military police through this scholarship,” said Rick Harne, MPRA- Executive Director. “Funding is a huge barrier for many, and this opportunity removes that barrier. The MPRA has a long history of working with the University of Phoenix and this is another opportunity to show it.”
