DPS followed a suspect on Interstate 10 to Phoenix on Tuesday morning. 3TV / CBS 5 PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Authorities have arrested three suspects involved in a high-speed pursuit in Pinal and Maricopa counties. According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a soldier initiated a traffic stop on a pickup truck on Interstate 10 heading west in the Eloy area around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle did not stop and entered the Phoenix area on Interstate 10. The Arizona family news chopper video showed the driver of the vehicle transitioning north onto Interstate 17 and eventually exiting the freeway on Seventh Street. The driver stopped in the area of ​​Fourth Street and Buckeye Road, more than 60 miles from where the chase began. Several suspects were seen running out of the pickup truck. Phoenix Police and DPS officers took all three suspects into custody. The driver was later found to be a US citizen and the two occupants of the vehicle were migrants.
