PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Phoenix police are investigating after a teenage boy was shot dead near 19th Avenue and Pima Streets. Andy Williams says officers arrived at the scene around 2:30 p.m. and found a teenager with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. In an update from Saturday afternoon, police said he was expected to survive. Officials are still on the scene, investigating and speaking to witnesses.
