PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A man recovers and a suspect is at large after an altercation between two drivers resulted in a gunfight and accident in Phoenix on Wednesday night. It happened around 10:30 p.m. near Interstate 17 and Bell Road. Police did not elaborate on the initial altercation, saying only that the victim collided with another car after being shot. No one was seriously injured in the crash, Sgt. Ann Justus of the Phoenix Police Department said. The shooter was gone when officers arrived at the scene.
