PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Phoenix Police are looking for the car and the suspect who was involved in a road shootout late Saturday night. Authorities said officials responded to the 16th Street and Bethany Home Road area around 8 p.m. to get reports of a shooting. During the argument, someone inside the SUV shot the driver of the car and both vehicles drove away. The victim’s car then made a U-turn, where he lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into a building. According to police, the driver of the car was shot dead. Paramedics from Phoenix took the victim with life-threatening injuries to a nearby hospital, police said. The suspect’s vehicle was not found on Sunday morning.
