He also reveals why he allegedly pulled the trigger. Police arrest suspect accused of killing a teenager in Phoenix Dupree Rollins, 18, was arrested following the death of 16-year-old Romeo Perkins. Romeo was shot dead in an apartment off 25th Avenue and Glenrosa Avenue around 4 a.m. on July 20. Detectives say Rollins ran away after the shooting. When Phoenix officials arrived at the apartment, they found Romeo with multiple gunshot wounds. Ten cartridge cases were also found on the floor near the teenager. Romeo was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say a message read, “Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom Boom 10x,” which worked with the number of carcasses found at the scene. Another message reads: “[Expletive] The police report went on to say that Rollins called both the victim’s mother and aunt and told them he shot Romeo ten times and the teenager died quickly on charges, including first degree murder Police also say he is currently on suspended sentence.
