PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Phoenix Police released the mug shot for the man accused of taking twins after allegedly stealing an SUV in Phoenix on Saturday. Hours after Havana and Joseph Shackleford went missing, Phoenix Police Sgt. Andy Williams said they were safely found in the Seventh Avenue and Buckeye Road area. The toddlers are now with the family. The suspect, 30-year-old Eddie Jones, is on remand, Williams said. Investigators assumed that Jones might have been drunk and talked about going to New Mexico. An Amber Alert was issued at around 8.15 p.m. Then just before 9:30 p.m., Williams said they were all found but didn’t say who found them or how Jones was caught. An investigation is ongoing. Jones was jailed for a number of offenses. Copyright 2021 KPHO / KTVK (KPHO Rundfunkgesellschaft). All rights reserved.
