(Flickr Photo / ADOT) PHOENIX – Part of Loop 101 in northeast Phoenix is the only planned closure of the Valley Freeway this weekend. The westward Loop 101 Pima Freeway will be closed to an expansion project between Scottsdale Road and Tatum Boulevard from 10:00 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Monday, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The driveways of Westbound Loop 101 on Pima and Hayden Streets will also be closed. The two left-hand lanes of Interstate 10 going west between Broadway Road and State Route 143 on Broadway Curve in Tempe are 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Fridays and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sundays closed for surveying work before construction.
