PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Police say a man is dead after a fight escalated to a shootout in West Phoenix early Sunday morning. Andy Williams, officers responded around 5:00 a.m. in the area of 27th Avenue and Indian School Road. Investigators believe there was a confrontation and a physical fight that led to the shooting. The suspect, identified as a man, stayed on site and cooperated with the authorities, the Phoenix police said. The criminal police are also investigating witnesses in the area.
