PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – It’s a quiet neighborhood in north Phoenix that turned into a war zone for a few brief moments this past weekend. Security footage from a neighbor’s home shows gunmen open fire on a house on Thunderbird Road and 13th Avenue at around 4. 30 p.m. Saturday. Inside, a mother and her two teenage children slept. “I was incredulous,” said a neighbor. “I still don’t believe it. It’s shocking, just annoying.” Phoenix Police estimate that more than 50 shots were fired by two different shooters, one who may have been in a car, the other standing on the sidewalk, bullet holes and broken glass (Source: 3TV / CBS 5 You can see all of the bullet holes across the See the garage door, the front of the house and the bedroom window. The family car was also shot. The mother and her children were not injured, The mother didn’t want us to show her face for fear for her safety, but they said they were all asleep when bullets flew through the living room and bedrooms. “I just heard a bang and was scared,” “said the mother.” After hearing it stop for a minute, I got up and saw bullet grenades on my floor and I told my daughter to call 911. We were all on the ground. “I don’t have a lot of leads, the suspects ran away before someone fixed the vehicles g inspected in. But neighborhood surveillance videos might help. The mother said they have lived in this house for about 3 years and she has no idea why anyone is after her family. “I don’t bother anyone and I don’t know anyone,” said the mother. “Everyone who knows me knows that I’m a good person. I wish it never happened. I have no idea who could have done this. I wish I had known. ”The family is staying in a motel until they find another place to stay.
