Phoenix Building – State lawmakers recently attended a hearing on the business implications of COVID prior to their tour of the Phoenix Building. During a formal investigation, local leaders and small business owners spoke about working beyond the pandemic despite difficulties.
“The Phoenix Building Autonomous Region offers a wealth of case studies of how business owners, nonprofits and communities have come together to protect Main Street from COVID-19 challenges,” said D-Chester Rep. Shusterman. “We are excited to host this event and that the general public, the press and my legislative colleagues are listening. These findings are important for the further recovery of the federal economy. I think.”
During a small business tour of downtown Phoenix Building, house members spoke to property owners who worked with local governments to ensure pandemic restrictions didn’t result in closings.
“We need policies that prioritize SMEs and communities across Pennsylvania,” said Bizarro of D-Erie, chairman of the Democratic Policy Board. “Legislators have the ability to provide funds to communities like Phoenixville and act as a liaison for community leaders to work with companies so they can thrive in any situation. The people of Pennsylvania must act, and we are ready to act in Harrisburg. “
