PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Police are investigating after a body was found on the Grand Canal near 43rd Avenue and Osborn Road in Phoenix around 12:30 p.m. Ann Justus says officials arrived in the area early Tuesday morning and found a man with a suspected gunshot wound. Phoenix Fire declared the man dead at the scene. The police are investigating whether it is a self-inflicted assault or a murder. The investigation continues.
