PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – On the table is a reward for information about a man who one day stole a car from a parking lot in western Phoenix and then tried to run it over the owner the next day. Silent witness said the suspect stole the car around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, after the owner parked it in a parking lot southeast of 75th Avenue and Thomas Road. The victim’s wallet and credit cards were in the vehicle. Police said the victim received a notification around noon the next day that her missing credit card was being used in a supermarket near 83rd Avenue and McDowell Road. She and a friend went to the store and found their stolen car. (Source: Silent Witness) “When they got out of the car they were arriving in, the suspect drove the stolen vehicle towards them, hit the victim’s vehicle, and then drove away,” said Silent Witness when there was a short video clip of the Suspect published. The video shows the suspect going to the supermarket and grabbing a cup. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 18 and 25 years of age with thin stature and short black hair. He wore a black shirt and brown pants with a long black belt.
