PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A man was rushed to hospital after being severely burned in a RV fire in west Phoenix on Saturday night. It happened just before 8 p.m. on Van Buren Street and 40th Avenue. When the first responders got there, they saw a lot of smoke and flames rising from the motor home. The man who lived there got out before the fire brigade arrived. However, he had severe burns on his body so he was driven to the Maricopa County Burn Center, the crews said. The firefighters said he was in critical condition. The emergency services prevented the flames from spreading to other mobile homes. No firefighter was injured. What started the flames is being investigated.
