PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Three teenagers and one adult are in hospital on Friday evening after an accident in Phoenix. It happened near 16th Avenue on Hatcher Road, which is north of Dunlap Avenue. A total of four people were taken to the hospital, according to Phoenix Firefighters. A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old are seriously injured. While these injuries are significant, they are not considered life threatening. A 27-year-old and a 15-year-old were both in stable condition when they were taken to the hospital, the firefighters said. The three teenagers were in a car. The 27-year-old was alone in the other vehicle. What led to the accident is unclear. Aerial photographs show that an SUV and sedan were involved in the accident, but investigators did not say who was in which car. The SUV landed on the sidewalk. An investigation is ongoing, but Agt. Andy Williams said Saturday morning that it is not suspected of impairment. Copyright 2021 KPHO / KTVK (KPHO Rundfunkgesellschaft). All rights reserved.
