A moving company was supposed to move a Phoenix woman’s belongings to Massachusetts. But the movers and all their belongings disappeared. But 3 On Your Side managed to track down their items. PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – 3 On Your Side has an update on a former Phoenix woman who hired a moving company to move her belongings to Massachusetts more than 3 months ago. Unfortunately, the moving helpers and all their belongings have disappeared. “It’s troubling, it’s troubling, it’s stressful,” says Heather Corayer, who says she is mentally exhausted. She has lived in an empty Massachusetts house for more than 3 months, waiting for her household items to arrive. A company called Move Smart was supposed to deliver Heather’s goods in 10 days or less, but never did. “I’m in a hamster wheel, I can’t achieve anything.” In a previous 3 On Your Side report, Heather stated that after paying Move Smart $ 3,500 to move their goods, the moving company gave no answers as to why nothing was delivered or where their goods were located involved and here is the latest. After our investigation, we found that Heather’s wares never really left the valley. They were transported to a Phoenix camp where they stayed for over 3 months. And here we met with Heather. Gary: “You’re just across the street from your things and can’t get them.” Heather: “Right.” Gary: “How does this affect you?” Heather: “Oh my god, I cried, was worried, was stressed. I am not happy. I mean, of course it’s really just annoying to ask myself if our things are there, what condition are we in when we do I will always get our things. I just want to have a normal life and have my bed, my pillows, my clothes, my furniture, things that are important to us. ”With the information from 3 On Your Side, the Phoenix Police showed up. It turned out that Move Smart belongs to a guy named Jason Pacheco. It’s his signature on Heather’s moving papers, and it’s Jason Pacheco who is supposedly in charge of storing their goods in Phoenix. 3 On Your Side has found that Move Smart has had a troubled history and has received dozens of consumer complaints with Federal Motor over the past year Carrier Safety Administration has rallied, and 10 more this year. And the agency revoked Move Smart’s license 3 weeks before picking up Heather’s belongings. In other words, they shouldn’t have made a difference for anyone without a license. After the officers took a report, they drove to the camp, where they were told that the only authorized person allowed to open the camp was Jason Pacheco of Move Smart.3 On Your Side has confirmed that law enforcement agencies are now actively investigating . We have also confirmed that east coast law enforcement are investigating Move Smart and its owner over similar complaints. With the help of 3 On Your Side, Heather feels a step closer to reclaiming her goods. Copyright 2021 KPHO / KTVK (KPHO Rundfunkgesellschaft). All rights reserved.
