PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Phoenix police say they arrested a suspect on Friday in connection with a fatal attack. Andy Williams says officials arrested 28-year-old Donovan Johnson after he was found in a stolen car on Monday. According to the police, the officers reacted to an unknown disturbance call in the area of 36th and Van Buren Strasse 2 at around 12:30 p.m. on April and found a man who was inaccessible with severe head injuries. The man, who was later identified as 50-year-old John Weeks, was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Williams said Johnson admitted the attack during an interview with detectives.
