PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A man and woman were shot dead in a drive-by in east Phoenix on Tuesday. The shooting occurred near 45th Street and Broadway Road around 8:30 p.m. When the officers got there, the shooters had already set off in a car. They found a woman who had been shot and she was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, Phoenix Police Sgt. Anne Jupiter said. Jupiter said the 17-year-old boy, who was also shot in that neighborhood, was rushed to the hospital before officers arrived at the scene. Both reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Jupiter did not say what led to the shooting, nor was there a description of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department.
