Wellington Phoenix will be without defenders Sam Sutton and Louis Fenton at the start of the upcoming A-League Men season after the two full-backs sustained knee injuries in pre-season. Sutton and Fenton are expected to be on hiatus for about six weeks, but will take the Phoenix to New South Wales with Gary Hooper, three weeks away from his calf injury, later this month. The Phoenix will start the new season on November 21st against Macarthur
