PHOENIX, AZ – The city is offering $ 100 gift cards to people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 through city-sponsored events, according to a city press release. Those who receive a full COVID-19 shot at vaccination events around town are eligible for a $ 100 gift card to go to a local grocery store or gas station. These vaccination incentives are part of a pilot program approved by the city council, which, according to the press release, is intended to “increase vaccination rates in underserved communities”. The city operates two vans that travel through Phoenix to provide testing in different areas and to conduct testing and vaccination events across Phoenix.
