PHOENIX – (BUSINESS WIRE) – 11/01/2021–

Researchers from the University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies Center for Educational and Instructional Technology Research (CEITR) will present three research studies at the International Convention 2021 Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) November 2-6, 2021.

CEITR’s research laboratories focus on current issues in education and place researchers at the center of an effective ecosystem of experts, resources and tools. In the course of the pandemic, the transformation of educational technology has brought the priority areas of the CEITR to the fore of educational communication, access and learning discussions.

“The education systems in the K-12 and in higher education were disrupted by the pandemic. As scientific practitioners, we are committed to doing applied research with immediate effects to remedy the disorder, ”says Mansureh Kebritchi, Ph.D., university director of research at CEIRT. “Our focus is on exploring innovative strategies to improve our education systems and better serve learners, teachers and society. The three studies presented at the AECT are examples of current studies being carried out at the center. “

AECT 2021 presentations will focus on the impact of technology and the COVID-19 pandemic on student learning. The three research topics presented by 14 researchers are:

  • Strategies to Improve Students’ Online Work Skills Post Pandemic: A Mixed-Method Study;
  • Effects of Covid-19 on Nursing Students and the Faculty of Nursing;
  • RTD Immersive Virtual Reality in STEM Education: A Literature Review.

AECT is an international professional association of educational designers, educators and professionals. This year’s virtual and personal conference in Chicago with the theme Homecoming (Homestaying): A Return to Learning through Innovation offers practical applications, research, workshops and demonstrations of new technologies in teaching and learning.

Further information and registration can be found on the AECT Congress website.
