Strategic Storage Trust VI, Inc. Acquires Self Storage Facility in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area

LADERA RANCH, Calif .– (BUSINESS WIRE) – Strategic Storage Trust VI, Inc. (“SST VI”), a private real estate investment trust sponsored by a subsidiary of SmartStop Self Storage REIT, Inc., announced today the acquisition of a newly constructed self storage facility with 650 units known in Phoenix, Arizona. This is the fifth acquisition in the newly established SST VI and the third property owned by SST VI in the Phoenix market.

The newly constructed facility is located at 4730 E. Baseline Road at the intersection of Baseline Road and 48th Street and has approximately 68,500 square feet of rental space. This location is well positioned to serve the Knoell Gardens, South Mountain, Ahwatukee and South Tempe areas. It is easily accessible from I-10 and is just blocks from Arizona Mills and the Arizona Grand Resort. Arizona State University students can also benefit from this new location. The facility has desirable amenities, including a sophisticated security system with high-resolution camera surveillance, secured and alarmed doors, entrance gate, LED lighting, access units on the ground floor and air-conditioned indoor units with spacious elevators for the upper units.
