PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Southwest Airlines canceled hundreds of flights over the weekend, including more than 100 to or from Phoenix. Southwest canceled 81 Sky Harbor flights and more than 800 flights – nearly a quarter of its schedule – across the country on Saturday, according to flight tracking website FlightAware.com. By 10:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, another 74 Southwest flights to and from Phoenix were canceled. More than 1,000 flights have been canceled nationwide. Sky Harbor confirmed delays and cancellations across the Southwest network. The Southwest Airlines Pilots Association said it was aware of the problem.
