PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A letter from the City of Phoenix Aviation Director warns that a proposed arena and entertainment district that would house the Arizona Coyotes in Tempe could significantly affect operations in Sky Harbor announced a planned development of 1, $ 7 billion in the Tempe Entertainment District. The letter adds that the Coyotes and Bluebirds should not allow the use of lasers, fireworks, advertising lights, drones, or any other disruption that would require temporary flight restrictions as TFRs in the area “are likely to severely restrict flight operations during these times,” if not make them suspicious “. Additionally, the city advises that the developers hire a wildlife biologist to review the plans to ensure they meet the FAA’s criteria for reducing wildlife threats.
