PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Proving proof that you were vaccinated and using what is known as a “vaccination record” was an idea to try to make people feel comfortable at events and gatherings, but Governor Ducey says you do you won’t see this here in Arizona. Now a group of local entrepreneurs are suggesting something else instead. What they came up with is a bracelet. The COVID Verified bracelet is what the company COVID Verified calls an easily recognizable way for vaccinated people to voluntarily share their status and show their support and solidarity in the race for vaccination. “We think it’s a good thing that people are vaccinated and safe. We can get through the pandemic and people can get back to work and normal lives and we feel the band is only part of that effort, ”said Craig Matthew, COVID Verifed Partner. Matthew is one of the owners of the Smooth Brew Coffee Shop in Downtown Phoenix. This is where the idea for the bracelets came about. Matthew and his partners have teamed up to launch COVID Verified and bring the bracelets to market. “We thought about what would work so that people would come back in and make the employees feel more comfortable. What would a notification be when the vaccines are released? So there was some knowledge of who you were dealing with in the business and the staff were comfortable. “Said one of the other COVID-verified partners, Clint Coonfer.” The organization aims to be by the end of the year 10 million bracelets to be distributed. After you get your vaccine, you can go to CovidVerified.org to get your bracelet.
