PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal accident involving a pedestrian early Friday morning. According to DPS, the crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. on the exit of I-17 going north and Peoria Avenue. Investigators are on site and say that the I-17 exit and Frontstrasse are closed to the investigation. The lockdown is expected to last until 6 a.m. The victim has not yet been identified.
