SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – A pedestrian died after falling on the pavement in Scottsdale and was hit by a passing vehicle Saturday night. He was identified as 56-year-old Michael S Long. According to Scottsdale Police, officers were called to the 78th Street and Camelback Road area to receive reports that a pedestrian was hit by a passing vehicle. According to police, Long fell in the street and was hit. The driver of the vehicle stopped and stayed on site. Camelback Road has been temporarily closed from 78th Street to Hayden Road while officers are investigating.
