McDowell Heads Home for Championship Weekend with Love’s Travel Stops and Chevron Delo at Phoenix

It’s another homecoming racing weekend for Michael McDowell as he heads west to Arizona for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season finale at Phoenix Raceway. On board his # 34 Ford Mustang, McDowell will be joined by Love’s Travel Stops and their valued partner Chevron Delo. McDowell goes into Sunday’s championship race with much food for thought as the 14-year-old Cup veteran had the best season of his career to date; with five top 10s, two top 5s and one victory in the 63rd edition of the DAYTONA 500. “I’m really looking forward to returning to the NASCAR Championship at Phoenix Raceway this weekend,” said McDowell. “Phoenix is ​​always a special race for me because I race in front of so many friends and family members and the cheers at the driver intros are usually a bit louder.” McDowell reflected on his 2021 season by saying, “Even though we’re not competing for a championship, we still had an incredible season and were more competitive than ever.” McDowell added, “I cannot thank all of our partners enough for everything they have done for us this year, and I am proud to claim a DAYTONA 500 victory for so many of them.” Michael McDowell achieved the best result of his career in 16th place at Phoenix Raceway and would like to end his season with another strong performance for Love’s Travel Stops and all of its partners.
