LA Galaxy II will travel live on ESPN + to the game against Phoenix Rising FC at the Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex at Wild Horse Pass on Saturday, July 4th at 7:30 p.m. PT. This year Los Dos 3-5-3 are with 12 points, with 20 goals scored and 18 goals conceded for a goal difference of +2. In their last game Los Dos fell on June 27 at Cheney Stadium 2-0 against Tacoma Defiance with Sebastian Guenzatti from Tampa Bay. Judd has scored four goals in his last three games. Sunday’s competition marks the first meeting between LA and Phoenix this season. In 2020 Los Dos finished the regular season 8-6-2 with 26 points (4-3-1 at home and 4-3-1 away), placing them second in Group B and a place in the USL Championship Playoffs for the second consecutive season. Head coach Junior Gonzalez holds a record of 18-16-8 throughout his tenure as head coach at LA Galaxy II and has led the team to two consecutive playoff appearances. In the seven years of USL Championship competition, Los Dos has qualified for the playoffs five times, in addition to a USL Western Conference Championship in 2015.
