PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – A man has died after being hit by a car near 83rd Avenue and Camelback on Monday morning. Phoenix police say it happened just before 6 a.m. Officials found a man pronounced dead at the scene. The man was later identified as 29-year-old Michael James Brooke. They say the affected vehicle could not stay at the scene. No further information was published. The investigation continues.
