Eubanks Source: Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Fortune said officers did not pursue the driver who was later identified as Tyree S. Eubanks. A short time later, they received a message that the car had hit a barrier and another vehicle near the Bethany Home Road exit, just over two miles south of where officers first saw it. Fortune said the vehicle caught fire. Eubanks, 35, managed to get out safely. A video from the crime scene showed first responders taking him to a waiting ambulance. According to Fortune, Eubanks was wanted over a pending arrest warrant. No details about this warrant were immediately available. Fortune said Eubanks had been booked on the warrant and suspected of not giving in to law enforcement. Fortune said the people in the car hit by Eubanks were not seriously injured Saturday morning.
