Article The southbound lanes of I-17 are closed near 7th Street. PHOENIX – According to the Arizona Dept. of Public Safety, one person died in a rollover on Interstate 17 near 7th Street. The accident occurred on September 26 at 4:30 a.m. The officers did not say how many cars were involved or what led to the accident. The south lanes were closed in the area and all traffic left 7th Street, but they have since been reopened.
