PHOENIX – One person was killed in a crash that locked part of Interstate 17 in north central Phoenix for three hours on Friday morning. Two motorcyclists collided in northbound lanes near Bethany Home Road at around 8 a.m., the Arizona Department of Public Safety said. Other vehicles were also involved in the accident, the authorities said. The motorway was opened again at around 11 a.m. Traffic was secured to McDowell Road.
