An eyewitness video showed a cloud of dust moving toward the United States’ suburb of Phoenix as weather officials issued warnings for dust warnings Tuesday evening. Joe Grana, who filmed the drone footage, told Reuters that while it wasn’t the worst haboob Phoenix had, it got “pretty significant”. Grana added that “many trash cans were knocked over” and that “pools were destroyed and filled with leaves.” The National Weather Service in Phoenix said on Twitter that the dust warning was valid until 7:30 a.m. local time as the dust moved north moves, visibility below a mile warns, with forecast of local heavy rains and gusty winds.
