MORRISTOWN, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – The Arizona Department of Public Safety has identified the wrong-way driver in an accident that left no survivors last week in Morristown, northwest of Phoenix – old Michael Glen Sytsma drove without his around 10:30 p.m. Headlights in a white Nissan Titan pick-up truck on the westbound lanes of US 60 near Castle Hot Springs Road. Then he crashed head-on into a silver 2020 Chevrolet SUV. According to DPS, the impact caused the SUV to catch fire. Sytsma was killed along with all four people in the SUV. A coroner will do a toxicology report to see if the impairment was a contributing factor to the accident. The DPS has not officially confirmed the identification of the four victims. The investigation continues. Morristown is about an hour northwest of Phoenix along US 60. Loved ones set up Go Fund Me links for two of the victims to help with funeral expenses.
