Amid the longest losing streak of the season, the Detroit Pistons aim to end their West Coast trip with a happy ending when they travel to Arizona on Thursday evening to face the Phoenix Suns. Detroit got off to a good start against the Portland Trail Blazers Tuesday night, only back at nine in the middle. A freezing third quarter, however, left the Pistons slipping to their seventh straight defeat, 110-92 the end result. The defeat also gave Detroit their fourth consecutive loss at Little Caesars Arena. Watch the Detroit Pistons on the DirecTV stream. Star rookie Cade Cunningham had his best offensive performance of his first season, leading the Pistons with 26 points, with Trail Blazers’ CJ McCollum being the only one to score more at 28 who posted his first career double-double. As they battle the Suns, the Pistons prepare to see a team at the helm of the Western Conference for the second time this season. Phoenix is on an absolute heat. Having started the season on a head-scratching 1-3, the Suns have won 17 games in a row and are tied to the Golden State Warriors for the top spot in the west.
