PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – Four people, including a toddler, are in critical condition after an accident on a Valley Metro bus in Phoenix on Monday evening. Phoenix Fire crews were called to the scene around 8 p.m. after a collision with three vehicles was reported at the intersection of 40th Street and McDowell Road. When they arrived, the crews found a city bus and two cars had collided. One of the cars involved was thrown on the roof. 4 people were injured, including a 3-week-old girl, a 19-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, and a 26-year-old woman. They were all taken to a local hospital in critical condition, Phoenix fire officials say. The intersection was restricted as investigators were working in the area.
