Wexford Science & Technology LLC opens an innovation laboratory in downtown Phoenix to provide growing life science companies with access to flexible laboratory, office and laboratory support facilities.
The new tenant, named Wexford Innovation Labs, will occupy 34,500 square feet in Wexford’s 225,000 square foot 850 PBC research and education facility recently built on the Phoenix Bioscience campus.
This innovation lab will provide 250 to 1,000 square feet of laboratory space for start-up life science companies that are not quite ready or cannot afford their own commercial laboratory space.
So far, 60% of the laboratory space has been pre-approved, said Doug Woodruff, senior vice president and West Region Executive of Wexford Science & Technology LLC, based in Baltimore, Maryland.
Arizona State University is 112,000 square feet at 850 PBC, which is about half the size of the forest, he said.
