Elon, NC – The Elon University soccer team is hosting Wofford College on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. to celebrate the graduation weekend and the 20th anniversary of Rhodes Stadium.
Saturday’s game will be streamed on FloSports and televised via My48 Sports. Matt Krause and Taylor Durham will be on the line, with Marilyn Payne serving as a supporting reporter. Tellier Lundquist and Chase Williams’ game audio call can be streamed for free using the NEW The Varsity Network app on your smartphone.

COVID-19 mask requirement: Elon University has issued a mask requirement for indoor areas. All students, lecturers, employees and visitors, regardless of their vaccination status, must wear masks in all campus interiors (except alone in a private office, in a dormitory / apartment room or when eating or drinking). This mask requirement applies to the press compartment of the Rhodes Stadium and all associated interior areas of the Rhodes Stadium.
** NEW ** Clear Bag Guidelines: Starting with the 2021 football season, Elon Athletics has introduced a clear bag policy for all home football matches. Visitors bringing bags to the Rhodes Stadium must ensure that the bags are clear and that they are no larger than 12 “x 6 x 12”. Eligible items include clutches, diaper bags, medical condition related items, and factory sealed water bottles.
Anniversary of the Rhodes Stadium: Elon Athletics will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Rhodes Stadium during Saturday’s game against Wofford. In-game detections and video board content will highlight the past 20 years of Elon’s homeland.
Concessions: Fans attending the game on Saturday will have access to an improved and improved selection of food from our food stalls and for the first time also enjoy the beers on sale in the stadium. Alcohol sales end at the beginning of the fourth quarter and we ask that you always drink responsibly. A Raw Bar features NC Shrimp and Carolina Gold Oysters, served roasted or half-shell, while a Carolina Fish Fry serves local Carolina fish with cole slaw, french fries, and hushpuppies. Pit beef sandwiches, Joyce Farms grilled chicken, and San Giuseppe’s Italian sausage are also available.
Phoenix Club Halftime Hospitality: All Phoenix Club members who make an annual contribution of $ 250 or more are welcome to visit our halftime hospitality area, located behind the Woods Center Press Box on the west side of the stadium. The area will open in approximately five minutes in the second quarter, and eligible members will be able to enter behind Section 208. Members will NOT be entered through the Woods Center as in previous years to avoid indoor gatherings. Members can check-in at the Phoenix Club tent by showing the Phoenix Club 2021-22 membership ID.
Tailgating: The parking spaces are open from 9:00 a.m. so that all fans can start driving before the start time at 2:00 p.m. For full tailgating information, please CLICK HERE.
Fire of the Carolinas Marching Band: The Phoenix Walk with the FOTC Marching Band begins at 11:40 a.m. at Bank of America. All fans are encouraged to watch and support our team on the way to the stadium. The band then enters the main entrance to the stadium and continues their pre-game performance on the field 20 minutes before kick-off.
Keep your seats during halftime and join the FOTC Marching Band for exciting halftime entertainment. The FOTC kicks off its 2021 season with a show titled “Summer Sun” as we welcome everyone back to campus. We will present smash hits related to summer and sunshine; This is certainly an achievement that you would not want to miss.

Lost and found: The Rhodes Stadium Lost and Found station is located in the ticket office at the main entrance to the stadium. Objects found are to be handed in at this point. Items that were not picked up on the day of the match can be requested on the following working day by calling 336-278-6800.

Tickets can be bought at the ticket offices of the Rhodes Stadium. Accepted payment methods for ticket purchases are cash (window 4 only), Visa and MasterCard.
Fans can also use Elon’s digital ticketing. Fans can transfer unused tickets, print tickets from home or check your tickets on your smartphone when you are at the game.
Park: All parking spaces are open five hours before kick-off (9:00 a.m.). CLICK HERE for a parking card. Matchday parking is available for $ 10 in Hunt B’s parking lot, which is located behind the Schar Center. Free overflow matchday parking spaces can be found in the Colonnaden and Innovation Quad parking lots. A free shuttle bus will stop at each of these locations 90 minutes before kick-off and will take you to Bank of America Drive in Rhodes Stadium.

Disabled parking spaces are available in the Hunt A, Hunt B and Global Neighborhood car parks on a first-come, first-served basis.
Limited RV parking is available in Hunt B’s lot for $ 10, whichever comes first, first served. The overflow and the free mobile home space are in front of Arts West.
Direction of travel:
From the Greensboro area west of campus
As you approach Elon / Burlington, take Interstate 85/40 to Exit 140 (University Drive).
Take the right exit onto the ramp and turn left at the lights on University Drive.
Stay 4.1 miles on University Drive, then turn right on N. Williamson Avenue.
Continue 0.3 miles to the Rhodes Stadium on the left.
From the Raleigh-Durham area east of campus
As you approach Elon / Burlington, take Interstate 85/40 to Exit 140 (University Drive).
Take the right exit onto the ramp and turn right at the lights on University Drive.
Stay 3.8 miles on University Drive, then turn right on N. Williamson Avenue.
Continue 0.3 miles to the Rhodes Stadium on the left.
From Danville, Virginia, north of campus
As you approach Elon / Burlington, take Highway 87 to Old Highway 87 and turn right onto Old Highway 87.
Continue for approximately 0.1 miles before turning left on Elon Ossipiee Road.
Go 4 miles before turning right on Shallowford Road.
Go 0.5 km through the lights on University Drive to Rhodes Stadium on the left
Pets: Pets are not allowed in the Rhodes Stadium. Only service animals that have been specially trained to help a person are allowed.
Lightning delay protocol: The event management of Elon Athletics monitors storms on the match day. When a storm system approaches the Rhodes Stadium, announcements are made over the public address system.
If there is a thunderstorm with a lightning strike within eight miles of the Rhodes Stadium, all guests within the facility will be instructed via loudspeaker announcements and video panels to seek shelter.
If the stadium is approved for re-entry, an announcement will be made through the public address system, video board and social media, as well as radio and available streaming channels.
Heavy Heat Policy: Elon Athletics event management provides portable cooling devices throughout the stadium hall.
Announcements remind viewers how to stay safe in the heat. First aid stations are located below section 208 and behind section 108.
Prohibited items: Prohibited items in the Rhodes Stadium include:
- Opaque pockets
- Bags larger than 12 “x6” x12 “
- Weapons, firearms and explosives
- Tobacco products of all kinds, e-cigarettes
- Outside food / alcohol, opaque sealed drinks
- Bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards and roller blades
- Drones
- Umbrellas
- Whistles / flags on masts / large banners
- Folding chairs
Permitted items: The following items may be brought into the Rhodes Stadium:
- Clutch purses
- Diaper bags
- Articles related to a medical condition
- Factory sealed water bottles
- Seat cushions and blankets
