It will be a busy weekend (Oct 1-4) for the project work to improve the highways in the Phoenix area. Please click the Weekend Travel Advisor Card for more information on these and other closures or lane restrictions: Westbound Loop 101 between Pima Road / Princess Drive and Tatum Boulevard in the Northeast Valley from 10:00 PM Friday to 5:00 AM Monday ( October 4) closed for permanent lanes as part of the ongoing expansion project. Consider getting off before the lock and using alternate routes to catch SR 51 north to reach Loop 101 beyond the lock. The US 60 was temporarily closed in both directions this weekend in areas between the I-10 interchange near the Broadway curve and the Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in Tempe due to paving work. Click on the Weekend Travel Advice card for more information. The Weekend Travel Advisory can also be found on the ADOT website (azdot.gov). Heading north, I-17 is between the I-10 “Split” interchange near Sky Harbor Airport and Seventh Avenue from 2:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturday, October 2nd, due to paving work as part of the new bridge project on Central Avenue. Consider using I-10 in downtown Phoenix as an alternate route heading west. View the Weekend Travel Advisory Card in PDF format or visit our website for a full list of restrictions for this weekend.
