Consider getting off before the lock and using alternate routes to catch SR 51 north to reach Loop 101 beyond the lock. The US 60 was temporarily closed in both directions this weekend in areas between the I-10 interchange near the Broadway curve and the Loop 101 (Price Freeway) in Tempe due to paving work.
