Loop 101 eastbound lanes reopen after deadly crash in Scottsdale | Phoenix Traffic

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – ADOT officials say the lanes of Loop 101 heading east in Scottsdale were reopened Sunday night following a fatal accident. The collision with several vehicles occurred around 6:00 p.m. Several of the cars involved caught fire. Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say a motorcyclist appeared to have turned left and one or more vehicles were blocking the HOV lane when another vehicle collided with them. Several cars went up in flames as a result of the impact. No further information was released, but the area reopened just after midnight on Monday morning.
