BLACK CANYON CITY, AZ (3TV / CBS 5) – Driving on Interstate 17 near Black Canyon City is slow due to a Saturday afternoon bushfire. The fire slowed things down on the north lanes of I-17 near mile Post 248. On the opposite side, the south lanes near Sunset Point are closed due to an accident. A few miles down the freeway an accident in the same area as a bush fire is eliminated. * UPDATE * * CLOSE * I-17 going south is CLOSED at Sunset Point due to an accident at mile post 250. Expect greater delays and look for an alternative route.
