ALBUQUERQUE, NM (AP) – An Arizona man is charged in New Mexico after authorities found a warehouse of illegal drugs containing thousands of fentanyl pills during a search warrant. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s office announced Friday that Terry Ingram, 54, of Phoenix has been charged with parole violation and has been charged with multiple human trafficking and possession with intent to divulge. He was admitted to the Metropolitan Detention Center. Court records did not show that another lawyer had been appointed for him. Deputies and members of an FBI task force seized about 18,000 pills along with meth, heroin, and other substances after receiving notice that Ingram was regularly traveling on narcotics from Arizona to New Mexico and distributing them in the Albuquerque area, the said Authorities. According to a criminal complaint, the authorities found the drugs on the floor of Ingram’s vehicle and in two bags hidden in the vehicle’s engine compartment. He told authorities he had acted as a middleman and would bring the money from the drug deals in New Mexico back to Arizona, the complaint said. The information that led to the bankruptcy on Thursday came from a recent secret service operation by a gang. Sheriff Manuel Gonzales said in a statement that such operations in Albuquerque continue to produce results that help make the community safer. Authorities said Ingram had served time on previous drug-related charges in the Arizona Department of Justice. It was his first arrest in Bernalillo County.
