PHOENIX (3TV / CBS 5) – One person died and seven other people were injured after a two car crash near 75th Avenue and Indian School early Monday morning, according to Phoenix Fire. When the fire brigade arrived, the cars were on fire. Phoenix Police say the crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. Phoenix Police Sgt. Ann Justus says a man died on the scene and a 26-year-old man had life-threatening injuries. Six others – a 28-year-old man, a 22-year-old man, a 19-year-old girl, an 18-year-old girl, a 17-year-old girl, and a 25-year-old man, were also injured, but none of their injuries are life-threatening . Jupiter says detectives found out that a Chevy Trax was driving west with a man at Indian School. He is said to have run over a red light on 71st Drive and crashed in a Chevy Silverado that drove south with seven people inside and also pulled a trailer. The driver of the Chevy Trax was the man who died.
