- Maricopa County published its initial unofficial number of votes Tuesday evening after polling stations have closed. Those numbers showed voters across Phoenix mostly geared towards supporting additional school resources, but in some districts the opposite was the case. (Phoenix patch)
- There were 49,962 “breakthrough” cases of COVID-19 in Arizona. Breakthrough cases happen when a person those who are fully vaccinated become infected. They typically occur when immunity from vaccination begins to decline and before the person is given a booster. (ABC15 Arizona)
- Some Phoenix seniors have helped break a Guinness world record for most viewers of a live streaming bingo game. The game was streamed from Televeda, an online platform operated by a Scottsdale couple and developed to Seniors help fight loneliness, a problem that only increased during the pandemic. - Zillow is one of many internet buyers who buys houses and resells them after cosmetic changes, with the intention of making a profit. The company bought Hundreds of homes on Metro Phoenix Area but the Market started to cool before Zillo sold them. The company’s average list price in the Valley is now 6 percent below what the company paid for for the houses. (12news.com KPNX)
