Plans for an apartment complex near Dynamite Boulevard and Insterstate 17 are moving forward, according to a local home builder. The complex, called Ascend at Dynamite, will offer residents a swimming pool, fire pit, ramada, barbecue and picnic area. The complex will comprise a total of 260 units on an 11 hectare property. The complex is being built by DHI Communities of the DR Horton Group, based in Arlington, Texas. On March 26, the site received preliminary approval from the City of Phoenix. “It’s a great position,” said Steve Noblet, team leader for the city’s planning and development department. According to the site plan, there is a main entrance from Vorderstrasse near Dynamite Boulevard and a side entrance from Oberlin Way, which is a private driveway, along the south side of the property. The start of construction was not officially announced.
